Tempe PD Searching For Suspect In 16 Circle-K Robberies

The suspect has stolen cigarettes and cash from 16 different Circle-K stores since Sept. 5, and Tempe police are asking the public for help.

TEMPE, AZ — Tempe police are asking for help in finding a serial robber who has hit 16 different Tempe-area Circle-K locations.

The Tempe Police Department said he steals cigarettes from behind the counter, which is illegal, and cash from the cash drop each time. He typically places the stolen cigarettes in a black or khaki backpack with a black trim.

The suspect has been described as a man, 25 to 30 years old and around six feet in height. In some of the robberies, he has worn a red hat with the word 'savage' emblazoned across the front in gold lettering. In others, he was seen on security camera footage wearing a black hat and sunglasses.

He has been seen leaving the stores in a light-colored sedan, which police believe could be a late 90s model Lexus LS400.
