4-Year-Old Dies In Car Crash With Cow In Pearce
A four-year-old has died after a van struck a cow on a Pearce roadway and crashed into a car, the Arizona Department of Public Safety said.
PEARCE, AZ — A four-year-old child died Monday after a van struck a cow in a Pearce roadway and propelled the car into oncoming traffic, officials said.
The Arizona Department of Public Safety told Patch that a white van traveling southbound on the US-191 at 7:05 p.m. struck a cow. The impact forced the van into the northbound lane of traffic, where it struck the side of a silver car.
The four-year-old was a passenger in the silver car. The child was flown to a hospital with critical injuries and later died, DPS spokesperson Bart Graves said.

A passenger in the white van was also taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other information was made available, including the identity of the four-year-old.
