AZ Monsoon: Flash Flood Watch Extended For Tucson; NWS
Strong thunderstorms are likely across Southern Arizona through Thursday evening. Here's what to know about the weather.

TUCSON, AZ — A period of prolonged rainfall is expected across Southern Arizona through night.
That's the verdict from the National Weather Service, which has issued a flash flood watch for Pima, Pinal, Santa Cruz and parts of Cochise, Graham and Greenlee counties, effective through 11 p.m. Thursday.
Thunderstorms are expected to build up over the White Mountains, before descending upon the Tucson area.

Tucson has a 40 percent chance of rain Thursday, with a projected high temperature of 95 degrees, the service said.
From there, the Old Pueblo a 40 percent shot at precipitation Friday and 50 percent odds, Saturday through Tuesday.
