AZ Monsoon: Severe Storms, Hail Possible In Tucson This Week; NWS
A series of strong storms could bring damaging winds, blowing dust and heavy rain to southern Arizona this week. Here's what we know.

TUCSON, AZ — Strong storms capable of dropping upwards of two inches of rain, 50 MPH wind and hail are possible in the Tucson area from Thursday to Sunday, the National Weather Service said.
The storms, which will begin over the White Mountains, will move south-southwest toward Tucson each day, with Thursday and Friday representing the best opportunities for torrential rain and wind in Tucson, the service said.
Storms will bring a potential rainfall total of an inch or more to the region, which could result in flash flooding, after recent rains have caused local washes to run bank-to-bank.
