AZ Monsoon: Widespread Storms Expected In Tucson This Week; NWS
A bout of monsoonal moisture is expected to hit Tucson between Thursday and Sunday. Here's what we know right now.

TUCSON, AZ — Another round of monsoonal moisture is expected to make it way into the Tucson area, the National Weather Service said.
The upcoming pattern, which should arrive in the area on Thursday and run through Sunday, could bring localized flooding and frequent lightning, the service said.
The system is not as impressive as the one that dropped upwards of 7.6 inches of rain, but could bring heavy rain to the region.

"Multiple rounds of rainfall on already saturated soils will lead to increased chances for flash flooding," the service's memo reads. "Storms are possible day or night in this pattern. Strong winds and lightning will be possible with any stronger storms that develop."
The service's forecast shows less certainty around moisture chances in the Tucson area on Sunday and Monday, though there could be heavy rain on both days.
