Back To School: Tucson 2021-22 School Calendar

TUCSON, AZ— Back-to-school planning has already begun in Phoenix, with calendars available to help parents prepare for the first day in the Tucson Unified School District.

The first day of school for most students in Tucson is Aug. 10.

Heading into the upcoming school year, some dates are subject to change as the coronavirus pandemic nears its year-and-a-half point. A mix of in-person, virtual and hybrid learning is still possible in Tucson.

Like last year, these policies could change any time before the first day

Here is the list of dates to know for this school year:

Tucson Unified School District

First Day: Aug. 10

Thanksgiving Break: Nov. 26-27

Winter Break: Dec. 21-Jan. 1

Spring Break: March 15-March 19

Last Day: May 27
