TUCSON, AZ — The best neighborhoods in the Tucson area are Broadmoor-Broadway, Highland Vista Cinco Via and Catalina Foothills, according to Niche's new list of best places to live in 2022.

The new Niche listings for best places to live in 2022, with rankings both national and local, were released on Monday.

Niche creates its annual Best Places to Live rankings using data from the U.S. Census, FBI, Bureau of Labor Statistics, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in addition to resident reviews, according to a news release. It also considers factors like affordability, the housing market, diversity, public schools and walkability.

Here are Tucson's top 10 best neighborhoods, according to Niche:

  1. Broadmoor-Broadway
  2. Highland Vista Cinco Via
  3. Catalina Foothills
  4. Peter Howell
  5. San Clemente
  6. Old Fort Lowell
  7. Shaheen Estates
  8. La Madera
  9. Poets Square
  10. Pie Allen
