Chance Of Rain All Week Long In Tucson, Snow At Higher Elevation
Up to 1.5 inches is possible in the valley with larger totals expected in the mountains. Snow accumulation is likely above 6,000 feet.

TUCSON, AZ — A series of weather systems headed for southern Arizona will bring with them chances of rain in Tucson all week long, according to the National Weather Service.
A chance of evening showers in the Tucson area begins Monday, with chances of scattered showers Tuesday and Wednesday.
The biggest chance of rain will be on Wednesday and Thursday, with showers likely both days and locally heavy rain possible Wednesday evening and Thursday morning.

The weather service is expecting rainfall totals of between a half-inch to 1.5 inches in the valley and between 1-3.5 inches in the mountains.
Snow accumulation is expected at mountain locations with elevations of 6,000 feet and higher, with the most significant accumulation at 7,500 feet and higher beginning Thursday into Saturday morning, according to the weather service forecast.
