Chilly Temps In Tucson To Follow Unseasonable Warmth
Air quality alert in affect for Tucson on Friday, caused by gusty winds that kicked up dust and other particulates.
TUCSON, AZ — It's going to be chilly in Tucson this weekend, following blowing dust and bad air quality on Friday, according to the National Weather Service.
Patchy, blowing dust was expected to be at its worse in Tucson from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, the weather service predicted. There was an air quality alert in effect for Tucson and the surrounding communities on Friday.
After unseasonably warm highs this week that reached the 80s this week, temperatures were set to drop significantly this weekend, with highs in the lowers 70 to the 60s and overnight lows dipping down into the 30s, the weather service predicted.

The high on Friday was expected to be 73, with an overnight low of 41.
The high on Saturday was predicted to be 72 with a Saturday night low of 37 degrees.
Sunday is expected to be particularly chilly, with a high of 60 degrees and an overnight low of 33.
