Family Displaced, Dog Dies In Tucson House Fire: TFD
The fire happened in the 200 block of West Columbia Street. Wind pushed the fire toward a neighboring home.
TUCSON, AZ — A family of five is displaced and one of their dogs has died after a fire in a house in the 200 block of West Columbia Street in Tucson on Wednesday, the Tucson Fire Department said. The family's other dog survived the fire.
Strong winds pushed the fire toward another home to the west, but firefighters quickly knocked out the fire to save the second house from additional damage, the fire department said.
The Red Cross is assisting the family.
