The care center plans to serve up to 400 pets at the clinic, set for Saturday.
TUCSON, AZ — Pima County Animal Care Center is hosting a free pet vaccination and microchipping clinic this Saturday.
The clinic is set for 8 a.m.-4 p.m. at the center at 4000 N. Silverbell Road, according to a news release.
Pet owners who want to bring their pets will have to sign up for a spot virtually. The center uses a virtual queue system called While Wait that pet owners can sign onto beginning at 8 a.m. Friday.

The slots tend to fill up quickly, so for those who are lucky enough to get a spot, While Wait will send a confirmation text with a timeframe for when their pet or pets will be seen.
While Wait will notify blocks of pet owners throughout the day that the center is nearly ready to see their pet or pets and that they should begin making their way to the clinic. Even though each separate pet will get their own appointment, PACC asks that owners bring all of their pets that obtained appointment times to the first appointment.
