Kids Can Write A Christmas Letter To A Pima County Shelter Pet

TUCSON, AZ — Your child can write a letter to a pet at Pima Animal Care Center this holiday season.

The center is posting a mailbox in its lobby where locals can drop off letters to its pets. Later, shelter workers will empty the box and read the letters to the animals. You child can choose a specific pet to write by browsing here.

The animal care center is located at 4000 N. Silverbell Road in Tucson. The center is open noon-7 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
