Kristin Chenoweth Postpones Sunday Tucson Show Due To Illness

The Broadway star's performance has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. on April 22.

TUCSON, AZ —Fox Tucson Theatre announced earlier this week that Broadway star Kristin Chenoweth's scheduled performance this Sunday has been postponed due to the singer's last-minute illness.

The show titled "An Evening with Kristin Chenoweth" in support of her For the Girls album has been rescheduled for 7:30 p.m. on April 22. All tickets will be good for the new date, and there is no additional action needed at this time, the Fox Tucson Theatre announced.

According to BroadwayWorld.com, the show is scheduled to feature the Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress performing songs like: "For Good," "Art is Calling Me," "I am Woman," "The Way We Were," and "Popular." Chenowith also is expected to sing "Desperado," a major hit for Tucson-born Linda Ronstadt.

When the show does take place, it will be Chenoweth's second time performing in Tucson. She previously performed with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra in 2019.

Chenoweth, according to BroadwayWorld.com, said fans can expect an uplifting show that is full of hope.
