Man Found Killed In Tucson Desert Area He Frequented: Police

Anyone with information about the 57-year-old man's death is asked to contact Tucson police.

TUCSON, AZ — The body of a man who police said suffered obvious physical trauma was found in a desert area in Tucson Saturday morning, according to police.

Lionel Luwaiki Hoaeae, 57, was found near the intersection of East Sellarole Street and South Eastview Avenue, west of Houghton Road, police said.

Hoeaeae frequented that area, according to police.

Police said that they had no suspects in custody, and did not release any more details about Hoeaeae's killing.

Anyone with information about his death is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME to share that information with police.
