Pedestrian Killed In Hit And Run In Tucson: Police

The pedestrian was crossing the road mid-block but the vehicle that hit him drove away and still hasn't been located, according to police.

TUCSON, AZ — A pedestrian was struck and killed in a hit-and-run Saturday night in Tucson as the pedestrian attempted to cross Prince Road, according to Tucson police.

Thomas Joseph Lemburg, 54, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Lemburg was running across Prince Road from north to south — mid-block — when he was hit in the curb lane, according to Tucson police.

Witnesses did not identify what kind of vehicle hit Lemburg, and the driver and vehicle have not been found, police said.

Detectives request that anyone with information about crash call 911 or 88-Crime to report it to police.
