Police Identify Man Killed In Tucson Hit And Run Near St. Mary's
The Tucson Police Department has identified the pedestrian killed in a hit and run near St. Mary's Hospital Tuesday.
TUCSON, AZ – The Tucson Police Department Sunday identified the pedestrian struck and killed near St. Mary’s Hospital Tuesday as C. David Manriquez, 58. He was hit by a vehicle at W. Anklam Road and Centennial Drive around 11 p.m. and was lying in the road when police arrived.
Tucson Fire Medics administered to Manriquez once they arrived at the roadway, but in spite of their efforts, he died at the scene.
Police detectives and officers interviewed witnesses and learned that the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle headed west while the pedestrian was southwest of St. Mary's Hospital. The vehicle didn’t stop after striking Manriquez.

No one has been able to provide police any information on the suspect's vehicle, and Tucson police are asking anyone who has information on this collision to call 88-CRIME. Tipsters can stay anonymous.
Manriquez's is the 37th fatal pedestrian accident in Tucson this year, up from last year’s 29 fatal pedestrian collisions in the city.
