Possible Rain Headed For Tucson, Air Quality Alert In Effect: NWS
There was a good chance of rain in Tucson Thursday night, with possible wind gusts up to 33 mph.
TUCSON, AZ — The possibility of rain was in the forecast for Tucson Thursday night, along with wind gusts that could reach up to 30 mph, the National Weather Service predicted.
There was a 50 percent chance of showers Thursday night, mostly before 2 a.m., the weather service forecast. It was expected to be breezy with a west wind of 16-21 mph and an overnight low of around 38 degrees.
There was also an air quality alert in effect for the Tucson area Thursday, because of gusty winds that could cause blowing dust and particulates in the air that could aggravate heart and lung conditions, the weather service warned.

Friday was expected to be sunny with a high of 67 and a low of 36, with temperatures warming up over the weekend with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the 40s.
