Red Flag Warning Issued For Tucson Area On Friday
Gusty winds and low humidity will contribute to the high fire danger, according to the National Weather Service.
TUCSON, AZ — Gusty winds, dry fire fuel and low humidity will all contribute to red flag conditions in the Tucson metro area on Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued a red flag warning from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday for the Tucson area and much of the rest of southern Arizona.
The dry, windy conditions on Friday will contribute to easier fire starts and the potential for the rapid spread of new or existing fires, the weather service said in its red flag warning.
