Snow For Mountains Around Tucson, Wind And Rain In The City: NWS
A cold front will bring with it wind gusts of up to 26 mph and much colder temperatures over the weekend.
TUCSON, AZ — Tucsonans should brace themselves for cold, wind and rain, according to the National Weather Service forecast.
As a cold front moves quickly across the region Thursday evening into Friday it will bring with it a 90 percent chance of rain in Tucson Thursday night and a southwest wind of 12-17 mph with possible gusts of up to 26 mph, the National Weather Service predicted. This could cause loose or unsecured objects to be blown away, the NWS warned.
There's a continuing 70 percent chance of showers for Tucson into Friday morning.

Mountain areas surrounding Tucson are likely to see snow, with a 100 percent chance of snow Thursday evening on Mount Lemmon, and a continuing 80 percent chance into Friday morning, according to the National Weather Service. This could make for slick and hazardous road condition in mountain areas Thursday night into Friday morning.
The cold front will also bring cooler temperatures this weekend, with expected highs in Tucson of 63 degrees and 68 degrees on Friday and Saturday, respectively. Lows in the Tucson area this weekend are expected to be in the upper 30s, with higher elevations dropping below freezing.
