Teen Dies After Running Out Of Water While Hiking Picacho
Rescuers found the 16-year-old unconscious and not breathing, a spokeswoman for the Pinal County Sheriffs said.

TUCSON, AZ — A teenage boy who ran out of water hiking Picacho Peak Saturday died, Pinal County Sherrifs said.
The 16-year-old was with a group at the time. They had reached the summit when his fellow hikers got worried, Pinal County Sheriffs spokeswoman Navideh Forghani said, as they noticed he was struggling to get back down.
They called for help but it was too late.

When first responders with the Avra Valley Fire Department arrived, the boy was found unconscious and not breathing, she said.
After attempts to revive him failed, they pronounced him dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld because of his age. An official cause of death will be determined.
