Tucson High Counselor Accused Of Sexual Conduct With A Student: Police
The 29-year-old counselor is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with a 15-year-old student, according to Tucson police.
TUCSON, AZ — A former counselor at Tucson High School is suspected of having an inappropriate relationship with one of her students, according to Tucson police.
The counselor, Zobella Vinik, 29, turned herself in to police on Wednesday and was booked into Pima County Jail on suspicion of sexual conduct with a minor, according to police.
Police received a report on May 3 about an inappropriate relationships between Vinik and a 15-year-old student that happened away from school grounds, police said.

Detectives from Tucson's Child Sexual Assault Unit found probable cause to arrest Vinik through interviews and after serving warrants on electronic devices, police said.
Anyone with information about this case is asked to call 911 to share the information with police or 88-CRIME to report anonymously.
