Tucson Man Who Attacked Trump Supporter In 2018 Sentenced Monday
Daniel Brito was sentenced Monday to 3 years' probation and 12 jail days in connection with a 2018 attack on a Trump supporter in Tucson.
TUCSON, AZ — Daniel Brito, 43, was sentenced Monday to three years’ probation and 12 jail days for the 2018 attack of a Trump supporter wearing a MAGA baseball cap on Fourth Avenue in Tucson shortly before the 2018 general elections.
Brito passed the victim on Fourth Avenue last November when the victim was wearing a “Make America Great Again” cap and holding a sign that said, “Jobs not mobs, vote Republican on Tuesday,” according to court records as reported by the Arizona Daily Star.
Brito reached out from behind and grabbed the victim’s cap, but the victim took it right back. Next was a brawl on the ground, during which the victim's ankle was broken.

Brito got on his feet, then slugged the injured man’s head before beginning to walk away. Brito believes Trump is a Nazi.
