TUCSON, AZ — Residents are invited to attend the swearing in of Tucson's first Latina Mayor Regina Romero and Ward 1, 2, and 4 council members at a city council meeting at the Tucson Convention Center’s Leo Rich Theatre at 9:30 a.m. Monday.

The Arizona Daily Star reported this is technically the mayor's second swearing in, with the first being an informal one at the Tucson City Hall shortly after the election earlier in November.

At Monday's meeting, in addition to the oaths of office administration, the meeting features the mayor giving an address, and a new vice mayor will be elected.
