Tucson Temperatures To Drop Dramatically Tuesday And Wednesday

TUCSON, AZ — If you're looking to do some outdoor activities in Tucson this week, Tuesday and Wednesday are your best bet, with highs expected in the 70s after a warm weekend with highs in the upper 80s and 90s.

Tucson's red flag warning is set to expire Monday evening.

The high on Tuesday is expected to be around 74, a full 14 degrees cooler than Monday's high of 88 degrees, according to the National Weather Service forecast. Tuesday is expected to continue the weekend's windy weather, with a southwest wind of 14-21 mph and possible gusts of up to 31 mph.

The overnight low on Tuesday is expected to be a chilly 40 degrees, with the high on Wednesday again at 74, the weather service predicted. The wind is expected to calm on Wednesday, with a breeze of between 5-9 mph.

Temperatures are expected to begin warming back up to around normal for this time of year on Thursday, with an expected high of 83, and then a high of 89 degrees on Friday, the weather service said.
