The team's official Twitter even called for the tight end to be honored with the game's Most Valuable Player award, which eventually went to Brady following the Buccaneers' 31 to 9 lopsided win.
Newly-appointed Arizona Head Football Coach Jedd Fisch also got in on the social media fun, jokingly asking if Gronkowski was a Wildcat.
Well this is fun! Just for my own clarification...that’s the Univ of Arizona Wildcat right? @RobGronkowski @ArizonaFBall pic.twitter.com/M7R5JiNquS

Fisch, like Gronkowski, came from the New England Patriots after spending a season as their quarterbacks coach.
It seems the feeling is mutual: Gronkowski previously tweeted his wishes after Fisch was hired in December, asking him to "bring the Wildcats back!"
