Wet Weather Could Impact Holiday Travel In The Tucson Area: NWS
There's a chance of rain in the Tucson area on both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, according to the National Weather Service.

TUCSON, AZ — Rain showers heading for the Tucson area Christmas Eve overnight into Christmas Day could impact holiday road travel, the National Weather Service is warning.
There's a 40 percent chance of rain during the day on Friday in the Tucson area and a 60 percent chance overnight, with a 40 percent chance throughout the day and night on Saturday, according to the weather service forecast.
Wet roads Friday and Saturday could put a damper on holiday travel, so the weather service recommends using caution and taking your time during what are typically busy travel days with people out on the road to visit friends and family.

Snow accumulation at higher elevations in southern Arizona is not a major concern, the weather service said.
Total rainfall from the system is expected to be less than half an inch across the Tucson region.
