Wind Advisory For Tucson, Rain Showers Likely: NWS
Widespread frost is predicted Thursday morning, with overnight lows expected to dip below freezing Wednesday night.
TUCSON, AZ — A wind advisory went into affect for Tucson at 10 a.m. Wednesday and was set to expire at 8 p.m., according to the National Weather Service.
Southwest winds of 25 to 35 mph were expected with possible gusts of up to 45 mph, the weather service predicted.
These winds could blow down tree limbs or move unsecured objects, the weather service warned. The wind could cause blowing dust, resulting in reduced visibility. The weather service advised that Tucsonans secure loose outdoor objects and use extra caution when driving, especially when driving high-profile vehicles.

Showers were expected in Tucson after 2 p.m. Wednesday, with an 80 percent chance of precipitation, the weather service predicted. The high on Wednesday was expected to be around 59 degrees with an overnight low of 31.
Widespread frost was expected Thursday morning.
