• Gerald Safrans (heraldextra.com) — Many locals will remember Navy veteran Gerald “Jerry” Safrans, who spent numerous retirement winters in Wickenburg riding side-by-sides and playing cards with friends. The 80-year-old Vietnam veteran, devoted husband, father, and grandfather passed away November 24, 2025, and a memorial service celebrating his life and military service will be held at a later date.
