21-Year-Old Killed In Arkansas Hospital Shooting: Police
The shooter was apprehended at a gas station in Little Rock, about 15 miles from the scene, according to police.

SHERWOOD, AR — One man is dead and another faces multiple felony charges after a shooting Wednesday at a hospital in Arkansas, according to police.
Raymond Lovett Jr., 24, is charged with capital murder and aggravated assault in connection with the death of 21-year-old Leighton Whitfield, police said.
Officers responded around 10 a.m. to CHI St. Vincent Hospital North in Sherwood for a report of shots fired and a possible active shooter, according to police, who found Whitfield dead at the scene.

A perimeter was established and the hospital was placed on lockdown during the law enforcement response, police said. Footage from the scene tweeted by KARK reporter Andrew Epperson showed police vehicles and people — many in scrubs — clustered outside the hospital.
Little Rock officers apprehended Lovett shortly after 11 a.m. at a gas station in the city, about 15 miles from the hospital, according to police.
