Obituary: Donna Wolfe

Her beautiful soul, caring demeanor and pleasant personality will forever live on in our hearts and minds.

Donna Rae Wolfe (nee Marino), age 86, of Violet Hill, AR and formerly of Joliet, IL, passed away May 27, 2022, in Arkansas. Born March 7, 1936 in Joliet to the late Uella (Ward) and Joseph Marino, Donna was a longtime area resident.

Survived by her sons and daughter, John, Russell, Rita, Jimmy and Ronnie Wolfe; grandchildren, Justin (Beverly) Wolfe, Megan (Sonny) Spies, Josh Robinson, Dakota Robinson, Michael Wolfe, Beth Wolfe and Jason; great grandchildren, Austin, Addyson, Jaxson, Joslin, Austin, Penelope, Conner, Lilly, Lucious, Zachariah, Emma, Abby, Hannah, Haley and Caleb. Also surviving are her aunt, Gloria (Marino) Martino; several nieces and nephews, as well as her faithful canine companions, Mindy and Scruffy.

Preceded in death by her parents; former husband, William Francis Wolfe; Uncles, Pete, Tom, Frank and John Marino; Aunts, Angeline (Marino) King, Lana (Marino) Yudzentis, Josephine (Marino) Ceci and Marie (Marino) Santlin; siblings, Joe Marino and Betty (Voight) Conrad and grandson, Aaron.

Donna loved the outdoors, especially fishing, hunting and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She put in many proud, dedicated years of cleaning/engineering services at St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet.

Visitation for Donna Rae Wolfe will be held Tuesday June 7, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. at the at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home, 3200 Black at Essington Roads in Joliet, IL. Funeral services Wednesday June 8, 2022 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Joliet.
