• River Valley Restaurant Inspections: Dead flies were observed on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator (rivervalleydemocratgazette.com) — Recent health inspections found several issues at Alma restaurants, including temperature problems with condiments at Pops Family Southern Cuisine and nonworking handwashing sinks and ice bags stored on the floor at Catfish Hole. China Fun on Highway 71 N. in the Willow Branch area was cited for debris buildup in its walk-in freezer and vent.
