• WATCH: Ozark student narrowly avoids being hit by car driving by stopped school bus (nwahomepage.com) — A student walking home between Ozark and Altus narrowly escaped being hit when a white sedan illegally passed a stopped school bus on Highway 64 Monday afternoon. No children were hurt, but school officials and the Franklin County Sheriff are asking anyone who recognizes the car to contact them, and they’re reminding drivers that Arkansas law requires stopping at least 30 feet from buses with red lights flashing.
