Man sentenced to 40 years after pleading guilty to child sex crimes in Arkansas (myarklamiss.com) — A convicted sex offender was sentenced in Faulkner County to 40 years in state prison after being arrested at a Conway motel, where investigators say he arrived to meet someone he believed was a 14-year-old. Prosecutors credited coordinated work by local law enforcement and partner agencies and noted that, under current Arkansas law, he must serve the full sentence without parole.
