• Army Corps completes emergency repairs at Arkansas River lock (workboat.com) — Navigation through the Dardanelle Lock and Dam on the Arkansas River is back open after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers finished emergency repairs from a November barge strike. Crews lowered the Dardanelle pool, worked through bad weather and holidays, and restored the lock by December 3, reopening a key commercial route that supports jobs and industry across Arkansas and beyond.
