- A 15-year-old boy has pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges at the Sebastian County Circuit Court. Kemuel Stucki was charged as an adult with first-degree murder, aggravated robbery, and terroristic act in connection with two local robberies. Police say that on Dec. 12, 2022, Stucki entered an ALON gas station and demanded vape pens while signaling to his firearm. On Mar. 24, 2023, he allegedly entered another local convenience store demanding vape pens, and despite the clerk’s compliance, shot Chanell Moore six times, killing her. - Friends of Recreational Trails (FORT) is proposing the purchase and repurposing of the Historic Acme Brick Quarry as a bike park! After Acme Brick closed their plant in 2018, nearly 100 acres of land were left unused. In the proposal, portions of the land would be designated for an amphitheater, parking, pavilions, a mountain bike park, a trail, and a play area. The Parks Commission supported the plan and is now headed to the board of directors. View the full proposal here. (KFSM 5Newsonline)
