  1. Police are searching for a suspect connected to the attempted robbery of an ATM in Fort Smith over the weekend. The incident occurred in the early morning of Jun. 11, when police were notified after an alarm went off at Simmons Bank on Rogers Avenue. Officials say the suspect was unsuccessful in their attempt to steal the ATM and was spotted fleeing in a white pickup truck. (KFSM 5Newsonline)
  2. A new distillery is set to open this fall in Fort Smith. The Colorado-based Axe and the Oak Distillery says it plans to partner with local businesses including The Barracks, Stone House, and Phat Tire Bikes. The new location will include a 49,403-square-foot distillery and Whiskey House tasting room. (Southwest Times Record)
  3. Fort Smith police have arrested three suspects in connection with the burglary which occurred at a Towson Avenue pawn shop last Tuesday. Darius Cummings, 21, was arrested alongside two unidentified teenagers, and police say more arrests are expected in connection to the incident. Fourteen stolen firearms were also recovered when officers apprehended the suspects during a traffic stop. (KATV)
