• WATCH: Ozark student narrowly avoids being hit by car driving by stopped school bus (nwahomepage.com) — A student in the Ozark School District narrowly avoided being hit when a white sedan illegally passed a stopped school bus on Highway 64 between Ozark and Altus Monday afternoon. No children were hurt, but district officials and the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office are asking anyone who recognizes the vehicle to call in tips, and they’re reminding drivers that Arkansas law requires stopping at least 30 feet from a bus with red lights flashing.
