11 CA Restaurants Among 100 Most Romantic In America

CALIFORNIA — Just in time for Valentine’s Day, OpenTable has released its annual list of the most romantic restaurants in America, which includes nearly a dozen in California.

The reservation service released its 2025 iteration of the Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America, an elite list developed from more than 12 million diner reviews and other metrics, the site said.

Here are the restaurants that made the cut in the Golden State:

• 71 Above (Los Angeles)
• Dal Rae (Pico Rivera)
• FARM (Palm Springs)
• Gary Danko (San Francisco)
• Jeune et Jolie (Carlsbad)
• Mister A's (San Diego)
• Musso & Frank Grill (Los Angeles)
• Stonehouse at San Ysidro Ranch (Santa Barbara)
• Summit House - Fullerton (Fullerton)
• The Marine Room (San Diego)
• Wally's Desert Turtle (Rancho Mirage)

The full list includes restaurants in 34 states and Puerto Rico. California had the most restaurants on the list, with 11, Ohio had 9, and Florida and Virginia had six each.

One thing to keep in mind. Reservations book up quickly, with about half gone two weeks before Valentine’s Day, according to OpenTable.
