TAYLORSVILLE, CA — For $1.8 million, you could own an important piece of the history of Taylorsville, California, according to SFGate.

Young’s Market, which has been serving the tiny town — population 123 — near the Plumas National Forest for 162 years, is for sale, the outlet reported.

The historic brick building on Main Street comes with two commercial spaces as well as a two-bedroom home upstairs, according to SFGate, which reported owner Kelly Tan has run the grocery store for 12 years but is selling to prioritize time with her grandson.

“It’s always been something that’s supported the town,” she said of the market, according to SFGate, which noted the floors still have spur holes from the cowboys of years gone by and a 110-year-old cash register can be found in the middle of the store.
