Ocean views. Mountainside scenics. Wine country backdrops. These are just a few of the features offered at the six California campgrounds named to the list 50 Favorite Places to Camp in America Right Now.
Hipcamp, a U.S. based company that provides online bookings for campsites, RV parks, glamping and more, analyzed data from over 500,000 campsites in every state in the U.S. to narrow down their favorite spots including private land, public parks and RV parks.
“With peak camping season upon us, this diverse list of incredible destinations caters to every type of camper. We are also proud that this list gives campers an opportunity to experience some off-the-beaten-path treasures and a few resilient campgrounds recovering from natural disaster devastation," said Alyssa Ravasio, CEO and Founder of Hipcamp.

“We're so happy to provide a way for folks to get immersed in nature; it connects us with the land, ourselves and each other. And when we're connected to something, we're so much more likely to take care of it, which is what the world, our minds and bodies, and communities need right now,” said Bryanna Whitney, owner of Audrey Edna Cabin at Alpine Ranch.
