CA Car Thieves Zip Tie, Set Man On Fire: Report
A man who stopped to help what he thought was a stranded woman on the side of the road in Northern California was violently ambushed.
CALIFORNIA — A man who stopped to help a woman who appeared to be stranded on the side of the road in Northern California was reportedly zip-tied and set on fire by her and two men who stole his car, Fox News reported.
On Wednesday, just before 11 p.m., the woman flagged the victim down on a road about 40 miles north of Sacramento, southwest of Yuba City. When the man approached, two men stepped out of the woman's black SUV and restrained him, the station reported.
The group reportedly threw gasoline on him and set him on fire before taking his car. The victim was able to put out the fire by rolling on the ground before calling 911 for help.

His car was found a few miles down the road with a replica gun, Fox News.
