The dog, named Gracie, had been roaming with the container on her head for one to two weeks.
WILTON, CA — A Northern California dog who spent days with a biscotti bucket stuck on her head is free and has a new leash on life as she awaits her forever family.
Wilton Animal Rescue received a report about a dog that had been roaming with a container on her head for one to two weeks, the organization said in a Facebook post. The group was able to trap the dog last week. Her owner surrendered her and she will be available for adoption.
Her name is Gracie and she survived the ordeal in good condition, according to CBS News, which reported her owner was homeless.
