Lake County Shooting Leaves 2 Dead
The shooting happened near the Clearlake Oaks Post Office.
LAKE COUNTY, CA -- A shooting near the Clearlake Oaks Post Office on Monday morning left two people dead and an unconfirmed number of people wounded.
The shooting was reported around noon Monday and sparked a "shelter in place" warning to nearby residents, according to CBS San Francisco.
The suspect apparently fled the scene and shot a California Highway Patrol officer near Highway 20 before he was captured on High Valley Road, according to the television station.
