Man Walks Down Street Chewing Human Leg Found In Train Crash: Report

A construction worker outside the train station told WKRC he saw the man waving the leg, chewing it and hitting a wall with the limb.

WASCO, CA — A man is charged after he took a dismembered leg from the scene of a fatal train crash in Central California, according to reports.

Rosendo Tellez, 27, faces charges of removing and disposing of human remains outside a cemetery, destroying or hiding evidence, and resisting an officer, KGET reported.

The incident occurred Friday, according to WKRC, when a person who Tellez appeared to have been talking with before the crash was hit in the area of the Wasco Amtrak station, KGET reported.

Jose Ibarra, a construction worker who was laying concrete outside the station, told WKRC he saw Tellez waving the leg, chewing it and striking a wall with the limb.

Tellez told police he thought the leg was his own and that he had planned to take it to the hospital, according to KGET.
