Mom, Baby Found Floating In California River

SACRAMENTO, CA -- Listening to voices in her head, a mother tried to cross the Sacramento River last week with her 7-month-old baby.
The mother, identified as 37-year-old Kathyrn Marie Thompson, and her 7-month-old baby were found floating in the river last Friday. Witnesses, four fishermen, who rescued the baby said she was not breathing when she was pulled from the water, according to ANewsCafe.com.
The baby was taken to UC Davis where she is in stable condition, while Thompson was taken to the Redding Police Department.
