10 Photos Show Wildfire Decimate California's Greenville
Photos from the Dixie Fire, a 3-week old wildfire that destroyed Greenville. Firefighters are still trying to save Chester.

PLUMAS COUNTY, CA — The Dixie Fire, now 3-weeks old, spread through the California mountain town of Greenville on Thursday, decimating a gas station, church, hotel, bar, and museum. The historic town center, as old as the California gold rush, was also destroyed.
The blaze broke out 0n July 21st and is the states largest current wildfire, covering over 504 square miles. See below for photos.
