ACROSS CALIFORNIA--The 96th Academy Awards kicked off last night with breathtaking fashions on the red carpet outside the Dolby theater in Hollywood. The theme of the night was sparkly silvery and blue ball gowns. Several stars from Emma Stone, Da'vine Joy Randolph, Florence Pugh and Anya Taylor-Joy could all be seen wearing the alluring hues.

Other stars chose to pay homage to their current films like best supporting actress nominee America Ferrera wearing a pink gown to honor her role in "Barbie". Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo wore pink and green dresses, respectively, for their upcoming film "Wicked".

In addition to the stunning fashion, many celebs could be seen sporting a red pin to call awareness to the war in Gaza and a call for a cease-fire. Billie Eilish and Ava Duvernay were a few of the many celebrities to don the pin.
