A California player could claim an estimated $875 million jackpot in Wednesday's multi-state Powerball drawing — the 15th-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history.

There have been 38 drawings since Sept. 6, the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold. Two tickets, sold in Missouri and Texas, matched all six numbers and split a $1.787 billion jackpot.

Monday's drawing will take place at 7:59 p.m. Tickets sold after 7:05 p.m. are ineligible for that night's draw, but are eligible for the following drawing. Drawings take place every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
