A Munley Law spokesperson noted harsh weather and heavy traffic were among potential contributing factors to deteriorating roads.
“Overall, the study shows the disparity in road quality across different states and highlights the significance of states that may need ongoing investment in infrastructure, as bumpy and uneven driving conditions can impact safety and travel efficiency,” the spokesperson said.
The states with the best roads were Idaho with 94.78 percent, Georgia with 94.5 percent and Tennessee with 94.17 percent, according to the ranking.
