How do you know the teacher?

She was the teacher/principal of the 2 room school I attended in the 40's and 50's.

What does this person teach?

She taught all subjects, grades 1-4 and grades 5-8.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She has passed on, but she was fantastic.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

When I was in the 5th grade, I got to hear the lessons of the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders and passed all their tests. She gave me an 8th grade IQ test, and I scored 186. So she and her friend, the Superior Court Judge Scoles arranged for me to get a full university scholarship, complete with transportation to the university 3 hours away.
